About Sam Renaud

Sam Renaud is a Canadian Christian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist born in Montreal (September 3, 2005). He pursues a solo career under the name Sam Renaud and is also a member of the band Burned Hill, where he serves as guitarist and vocalist.

He began his solo career with the EP “Prince of Peace” (January 15, 2024), released at only 18 years old. He later released his albums “L’arbre De Vie” (August 2, 2025) and “Like a Candle, I Watch You Burn” (May 23, 2026).

His solo music blends Celtic and Irish fingerstyle guitar with new age influences. His compositions are primarily acoustic guitar instrumentals performed in DADGAD tuning, inspired by his Christian faith as well as his life experiences. His style can be compared to guitarists such as Alan Gogoll, Erik Mongrain, and Franco Morone.
